• Menstruation - It's more convenient, but not cured.
• Visiting witch doctors for cures.

• Hysterectomies and her uterus is ours.

Welcome to Apocalypse Day #3

The remnants of hurricane Ike (& Tina Turner) blow through Columbus, OH and we're all left in the dark for a week or more. So says the AEP, INC.

And thanks to American Electric Power, INC. , our for-profit power provider, for thinking ahead. I mean, after all, it's so rare for this area to be hit by high winds. Oh, fiddledeedee about all that tornado activity that occurs on a regular basis. We don't have to worry about high winds in these here parts at all!

Teresa Ortega graciously warned me of the lapses into apocalyptic moments in LA before I had moved there. But, so far Columbus has offered LA stiff competition in that regards.

If you ever have a chance to visit Columbus, OH, don't. Beg the pilot to fly over it. Really, it'll only be to your advantage...

Travel with me to Cape Cod (I was there to attend a conference) to meet Kentie from The Flatus Show, Ken is one of my long-time pod-pals who I meet in person for the first time.

Ken agreed to drive to where I was staying on the Cape, which was in the home of one of my best friends in the entire world, Jon.

Hear Ken's arrival to Jon's palatial Cope Cod home bearing gifts.

Hear Jon and Ken debate the merits or dangers of too much podcasting, too much coffee, too much fear in the culture, and too many pills. We also discuss our respective diagnoses GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) for Ken and Agoraphobia for Joe G. (Jon is diagnosis-free at this point in time). Jon wants to stop the freaks.
